The position

Most of the web is assembled from the same parts. Same grid, same template, same forgettable result. We build the other kind. Interfaces with weight. Motion with intent. Engineering treated as craft, not configuration. Every build starts from zero and holds sixty, and nothing ships until it earns the screen.

What we do

Four disciplines, one standard.

Cloud & DevOps

Our specialism, and where five years go deepest. Production infrastructure as code, container orchestration, and CI/CD, with the observability and cost discipline to keep it fast, cheap, and self-healing.

  • Terraform & Ansible
  • Kubernetes & Docker
  • CI/CD & GitOps
  • Observability & SRE

Web Engineering

Full-stack builds from the database to the last pixel. Type-safe Next.js and React on the front, Node, Python, Django, and Laravel behind it, APIs and data that hold under load.

  • Next.js / React
  • APIs & microservices
  • Databases & caching
  • Performance budgets

Interface & Motion

Interfaces with editorial weight and motion with intent. Design systems, typography-led layouts, and GSAP and WebGL choreography that carries the story instead of decorating it.

  • Design systems
  • Art direction
  • GSAP / ScrollTrigger
  • WebGL & shaders

AI Systems

Applied AI wired into production, not demos. LLM and RAG pipelines, autonomous agents, and computer vision, built and evaluated to the same engineering bar as everything else.

  • LLMs & RAG
  • Agentic systems
  • Computer vision
  • Eval & observability

Instrumentation

The machinery behind the curtain.

Full-stack delivery, with depth in DevOps, cloud, and applied AI. 5+ years building, automating, and shipping to production.

The studio

Small.
Deliberate.

GenDev is an independent practice, not an agency pyramid. The people who pitch your project are the ones who build it: senior hands across cloud and DevOps, full-stack engineering, and applied AI, under one roof. We take on fewer projects and push each one further.

We work with founders and product teams who treat their software as a flagship, not a checkbox: the infrastructure it runs on, the product on top, and the interface people actually touch.

Trajectory

  1. 2022First production apps and cloud deployments shipped for agencies and venture-backed startups.
  2. 2023Went deep on full-stack and infrastructure as code. Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability by default.
  3. 2024Set up as an independent software studio. No middle layer, no handoffs, senior hands end to end.
  4. PresentAI systems folded into the core stack: LLM and RAG pipelines and agents, running in production.

Word of mouth

Proof over promises.

We wanted the reels to lead and the team to edit everything without ever calling a developer. GenDev gave us both. It loads instantly and still feels like a film.

Questions

Good to know.

What does GenDev do?

We build all kinds of software. Bring us the problem and we will bring the solution, from websites, interfaces and 3D experiences to applied AI systems and the cloud infrastructure they run on. Senior hands across cloud and DevOps, full-stack, and AI, accountable end to end.

Do you work with clients worldwide?

Yes. GenDev is a remote, independent studio and works with clients worldwide.

What technologies do you build with?

Across three practices. Cloud and DevOps: AWS, GCP and Azure with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD pipelines, monitored with Prometheus and Grafana. Web: Next.js, React, Angular and Tailwind on the front, with Node, Python, Django, Flask, Laravel and .NET behind it, plus GSAP, Framer Motion, Three.js and GLSL for motion and 3D. AI: PyTorch, TensorFlow and computer vision, and LLM, RAG and agentic systems with LangChain, LangGraph and MCP.

How does working with the studio work?

You talk directly to the people who build it. No account managers and no handoffs. Infrastructure, backend, frontend and AI sit under one roof, so nothing gets lost between teams.

How do I start a project?

Email us a short brief and we will get back to you to scope the work, timeline and next steps before anything begins.
